Blue-Kote Aluminum Backing Plate Flap Disc 7"

The Aluminum Backing Plate Flap Disc is your all-in-one solution for efficient grinding and finishing. Designed with high-tech zirconium abrasive cloth, its angled flaps maximize contact with the surface, ensuring a clean, consistent finish that lasts. With its aluminum backing for extra strength, this flap disc allows for more aggressive grinding on materials like stainless steel while staying quieter and cooler than conventional discs. Whether tackling stock and weld removal or blending and dressing on farm machinery, truck bodies, or structural metal, this durable tool delivers faster cuts, reduced clogging, and long-lasting performance, all without the need for a backing pad.
• Two tools in one – grind and finish at the same time
• Much quieter than grinding discs
• No backing pad required
• Ideal for 15° – 25° working angle
• For use on portable right-angle grinders
• Suitable for use on a wide variety of materials, including stainless steel
